YRSRA 2004 AGM

The YRSRA 2004 AGM was held on October 27, 2004 at the Spruce Avenue Community Hall, Richmond Hill. Pictures are posted on our Photo Gallery.

AWARDS:
The following referees received various awards:

Peter Pendli - Male referee of the Year
Stacey Muir - Female referee of the Year
Eric Stohr - Special recognition award for his commitment to refereeing in York Region (24 years)
Tony Braganza - New Honourary Life Member
Peter Kalpouszos received a special award for his commitment to refereeing in York Region.

A special "Thank You" went to Gunter Benirschke for organizing all York Region referees in the 2004 Robbie Tournament.

ELECTIONS:

Collie Salmon - Acclaimed as President for a 2 year term

Robert Davidson - Acclaimed as Treasurer for a 2 year term

The meeting went well with approx 80 referees attending. Claude Henoud from the OSRA (CANSOREF Editor), as well as several associate members were present. Claude said that we have a well organized branch and that he was very excited with the programs we have in place.
